About the Role
The Compliance Engineer will maintain compliance certifications and frameworks for regulated industries, build technical compliance documentation, assist with client security requests, conduct risk assessments, and improve compliance-as-code tooling.
Requirements
- Experience completing vendor security assessments and client security questionnaires in highly regulated industries.
- Technical expertise managing and executing compliance, including hands-on experience with tools such as Vanta.
- Experience maintaining and acquiring certifications, audit readiness, and documentation.
- Cross-functional collaboration with sales, engineering, and legal teams.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure compliance and cloud compliance automation.
- Familiarity integrating compliance tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Maintain US Government compliance certifications and frameworks such as GovRAMP, FedRAMP, CJIS, and CMMC.
- Shape enterprise offerings for regulated industries including government, defense, and finance.
- Build technical documentation demonstrating compliance across the stack.
- Respond to client security requests and manage compliance-related queries.
- Conduct CIS or NIST-based risk assessments and document findings.
- Enhance compliance-as-code tooling to automate monitoring and reporting.
