About the Role
You will design, implement, and maintain secure cloud and hybrid infrastructure. You will build security controls into infrastructure-as-code, container platforms, and CI/CD pipelines; manage cloud security tools and identities; monitor and respond to incidents; and develop security policies, dashboards, alerts, and operational tooling.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in cloud security, infrastructure security, or related roles
- Understanding of cloud security principles, compliance frameworks, and best practices
- Proficiency in AWS, GCP, or Azure and associated security services
- Experience securing hybrid AWS/on-premises or multi-cloud environments, including IAM
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with containerization technologies and security implications
- Knowledge of network security concepts and protocols
- Experience with Python or Bash for automation and tool development
- Located in the EU/UK or willing to relocate
Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure cloud architectures across multiple cloud platforms
- Build and secure mission-critical applications in hybrid cloud and on-premises environments
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code templates with embedded security controls
- Assist with security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure and services
- Implement and manage cloud security tools and services
- Manage identities and roles across cloud and hybrid environments
- Monitor and remediate infrastructure for regulatory and best-practice compliance
- Design and implement secure container standards and automation
- Maintain Kubernetes security
- Integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines
- Secure CI/CD pipelines and maintain code-scanning platforms
- Monitor and respond to security events and incidents
- Maintain SIEM data pipelines
- Build and maintain security operations infrastructure
- Develop security metrics dashboards and alerts
- Develop and maintain cloud security policies, standards, and procedures
- Own security projects end to end
- Stay current with cloud security threats and mitigation strategies
