About the Role
You will investigate trade surveillance alerts across digital asset markets, conduct token and asset due diligence, identify manipulation and market abuse, use AI-assisted surveillance tools, improve detection workflows with engineering and data teams, maintain regulatory alignment, support audits, and prepare investigation metrics and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Criminology, Law, or a related field
- 3–5 years of direct trade surveillance or market abuse investigation experience
- Experience with surveillance platforms, transaction monitoring systems, and data analysis tools
- Experience with AI-assisted investigation workflows
- Ability to reconstruct trading sequences and identify coordinated activity
- Strong attention to detail
- Clear verbal and written communication
Responsibilities
- Review, investigate, and disposition trade surveillance alerts
- Analyze trading activity across order books, venues, and counterparties
- Identify manipulative patterns and coordinated trading schemes
- Prepare investigative narratives with supporting evidence
- Conduct token and digital asset due diligence
- Monitor listed assets for material changes and risk indicators
- Contribute to market integrity risk scoring frameworks
- Use AI-assisted surveillance tools to investigate alerts
- Partner with engineering and data teams on surveillance tooling
- Maintain knowledge of market abuse regulations
- Update surveillance procedures and detection playbooks
- Gather documentation for audits and examinations
- Maintain audit-ready investigation records
- Compile alert and investigation metrics
