About the Role
Build and nurture the Soulbound player community across Discord, TikTok, Twitter/X, Reddit, YouTube, Instagram, and Steam. Run events, manage moderators and volunteers, perform influencer outreach, create content, prepare weekly reports, and surface player insights to inform development.
Requirements
- Extensive MMO experience, including guilds, housing culture, cosmetic fashion, and endgame loops
- Experience managing a Discord community of 5,000+ members
- Experience managing a video game community; game launch experience is preferred
- Ability to create short-form video using CapCut, Premiere, or DaVinci
- Familiarity with meme culture and authentic social writing
- Self-starter who proactively engages on Reddit
- Ability to handle critical community feedback productively
- Willingness to play the game frequently
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an existing community of 25,000+ members
- Lead and support moderators and community volunteers
- Oversee messaging across platforms for releases, updates, and events
- Plan and run community events
- Perform influencer outreach and manage creator relationships
- Create Reddit threads and social media content
- Prepare weekly community reports
- Manage the Steam Community Hub
- Collaborate with guilds and integrate them into the game
- Develop Discord engagement loops with challenges, leaderboards, and rewards
- Curate user-generated content
- Lead a Content Creator Program
- Relay player insights to the development team
- Create media training and vetting programs
- Manage social channels and scheduling tools
- Collaborate with content creators and streamers
