About the Role
You will represent active development sites at public meetings and community events. You will build stakeholder relationships, identify political and reputational risks, deliver community commitments, write communications materials, and manage external partners.
Requirements
- Experience serving as the external face for a large infrastructure project
- Experience managing relationships with elected officials, regulators, community organizations, and utilities
- Ability to identify political or reputational risk
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Experience managing lobbyists, PR firms, or political consultants
- Ability to sustain presence at active sites
Responsibilities
- Represent active development sites at town halls, public hearings, planning commission meetings, and community events
- Build relationships with officials, government staff, utilities, school districts, workforce organizations, nonprofits, and trade associations
- Identify reputational, regulatory, and political risks
- Deploy local hiring programs, educational partnerships, and grants
- Write communications materials for community, government, and executive audiences
- Manage lobbyists, consultants, and PR agencies across site campaigns
