About the Role

You will support the planning and delivery of events, manage venues, suppliers, invitations, registration and on-the-day logistics, and prepare event materials. You will map technology-governance organisations and contacts, follow up with guests, maintain the contact database, support coalition meetings and joint activities, and monitor developments across the field.

Requirements

  • Entry-level internship for a motivated graduate
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in any subject
  • Native-level written and spoken English fluency
  • Event, community or membership experience is a plus
  • Organisation, clear writing, people skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Interest in emerging technologies and technology-governance communities
  • Eligibility to undertake an internship in Belgium

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of events
  • Manage venues, suppliers, invitations, registration and on-the-day coordination
  • Prepare agendas, name badges, signage and briefing notes
  • Map organisations and people working on technology governance in Europe
  • Follow up with event guests through thank-you notes, summaries and introductions
  • Maintain and grow the contact database
  • Prepare for coalition meetings, take notes and track follow-up actions
  • Coordinate joint activities with peer organisations
  • Monitor developments across the wider field
