About the Role
You will develop and execute communications strategies that make safeguards and product safety work understandable to everyday users. You will lead campaigns, crisis communications, announcements, executive engagements, and cross-functional messaging with research, product, policy, and legal stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of communications experience, ideally at a high-growth technology company with consumer-facing products
- Experience building proactive communications campaigns
- Ability to translate complex technical language into accessible messaging
- Media relations and issues-management experience
- Experience working with research teams and cross-functional technical and non-technical teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute communications strategies for safeguards work
- Manage crisis communications and counsel stakeholders on risks
- Own communications strategy for product safety work, model launches, and product features
- Lead cross-functional communications projects and campaigns
- Craft messaging for company announcements and milestones
- Build relationships with journalists and influencers
- Oversee executive interviews and speaking engagements
