About the Role
You will write and edit press releases, social posts, op-eds, and marketing materials. You will support media outreach, executive communications, briefings, speaking engagements, and message preparation. You will coordinate stakeholders, refine messaging for defense and technology audiences, draft thought-leadership content, monitor industry communications, and provide administrative support.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in defense technology, corporate communications, or public relations
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, national security, political science, or a related field
- Experience managing stakeholders across teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with media relations, executive communications, and messaging
- Writing and editing skills
- Interest in AI, autonomy, and defense technology
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- Project ownership and follow-through
- Judgment and critical-thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Write and edit press releases, social posts, op-eds, and marketing materials
- Support media outreach and executive communications
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders through planning, approval, and publication
- Support media briefings, speaking engagements, and message preparation
- Support relationships with PR firms and external partners
- Develop and refine messaging for defense, technology, and policy audiences
- Research and draft thought-leadership content
- Monitor news, industry trends, and competitor communications
- Provide administrative support for communications and marketing
