About the Role
You will establish the EMEA PR and communications function, hire PR managers and agencies, and develop regional communications plans. You will craft messaging, oversee channels and events, apply AI to content workflows, use audience insights, coordinate crisis response, and align communications across functions.
Requirements
- 12–15 years of in-house corporate communications experience
- 5+ years of people-management experience
- PR agency hiring, onboarding, and management experience
- Pre-IPO communications experience
- Policy and regulatory communications experience or interest
- Exceptional writing
- Executive and people-team communications partnership experience
- Project management
- Creative communications and storytelling
- Relationship building
- Prioritization in fast-moving environments
- European location, ideally the United Kingdom, Germany, or France
Responsibilities
- Build the EMEA PR and communications function
- Hire PR managers and agencies across key EMEA territories
- Implement regional PR and corporate communications strategies
- Craft messaging and materials with PR, marketing, sales, and stakeholders
- Develop rapid-response capabilities
- Oversee speaking engagements, conferences, customer events, and leadership gatherings
- Adopt AI integration for communications workflows
- Optimize EMEA communications channels
- Lead EMEA storytelling initiatives
- Use data and audience research to inform communications strategies
- Coordinate crisis and issues communications response
- Integrate internal communications, PR, marketing narratives, and executive messaging
