About the Role
You will support commissioning plans, test scripts, acceptance criteria, and operational handoff for facility and infrastructure projects. You will participate in design and construction reviews, verify installations, conduct pre-functional and functional testing, track deficiencies, maintain records, and work with contractors and engineering stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or related engineering with 3 years of relevant experience, or 7 years of hands-on experience
- Experience supporting commissioning, startup, or systems testing in an industrial, construction, or manufacturing environment
- Ability to interpret drawings, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and contractor submittals
- Experience with punch-list generation, tracking, and closure
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage concurrent tasks and deliverables
- Knowledge of OSHA, ITAR, and hazardous or energetic materials standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain applicable explosives licenses
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required export authorizations
Responsibilities
- Support commissioning plans, test scripts, acceptance criteria, and operational handoff
- Participate in design and construction phase reviews
- Verify equipment and systems are installed according to design and specifications
- Generate and track punch lists through mechanical completion
- Support pre-functional and functional testing of facility systems
- Document test results and track deficiencies through closure
- Troubleshoot issues with contractors, technicians, engineers, and vendors
- Maintain commissioning records and contribute to training materials and system verification packages
- Collaborate with project stakeholders throughout the commissioning process
