About the Role
You will join a team of analysts working to derive insights for FanDuel Casino, driving actionable understanding of the business. You will collaborate with other analysts on individual and team assignments, continually evolving the tools, models, and data visualizations used across the FanDuel Group business. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor junior analysts and take part in presentations that shape new business outcomes.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years' experience in a financial, business or data analytics role preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in a highly numerate major (Math, Finance, Econ, etc.) or relevant experience in data and/or business analysis
- Strong personal organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a lot of ambiguity
- Hands-on experience in SQL and Excel required; experience with forecasting models desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills, allied with track record of transforming data into actionable business insight
- Experience working in groups and leading smaller intra year projects
- Experience collaboratively working with colleagues in other countries and time zones preferred
Responsibilities
- Work with other analysts to produce insights and drivers of business performance
- Create, modify and evolve models and data visualizations to explain day-to-day KPI performance
- Create and maintain accurate revenue forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Participate in presentations focused on using analysis to drive new business outcomes
- Field and fulfill requests for various business inquiries
- Mentor junior analysts on day-to-day requests and team best practices
