About the Role
You will test Cloud Enterprise Network, Cloud Express Connect, and VPC networking capabilities. You will validate forwarding, failover, performance, and capacity at scale; build automated test frameworks and CI pipelines; conduct fault-injection and stability testing; contribute to design reviews; and lead root-cause analysis for production issues.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in network testing, cloud infrastructure, or large-scale network operations
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Communications, or a related field
- Understanding of cross-region and hybrid-cloud interconnect products
- Expertise in BGP and familiarity with BFD, VRRP, OSPF, and static routing
- Understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN/QinQ, overlay and tunneling technologies, and NAT/conntrack
- Linux networking and packet-level troubleshooting experience
- Experience with traffic generation and test tooling
- Python or Go test automation experience
- Experience with pytest or Robot Framework, Git, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience configuring switches and routers and building physical or virtual test beds

- Validate data-plane forwarding, failover, performance, and capacity at scale
- Build automated test frameworks and integrate them into CI pipelines
- Drive fault-injection and long-duration stability testing
- Participate in requirement and design reviews
- Lead root-cause analysis and closure of production issues
