About the Role
You will lead clinical AI contributors across two product pods while remaining hands-on with prompting, evaluation design, error analysis, and clinical content. You will own the clinical AI roadmap, quality, and delivery; review work; coach execution; represent clinical perspectives with stakeholders; and interview candidates.
Requirements
- MD or DO with completed residency and clinical practice experience
- 3–5+ years at a technology company after or alongside clinical practice
- Experience managing formal direct reports at a technology company
- Coding ability and fluency in AI concepts
- Willingness to work from the San Francisco office three days per week
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop clinical AI contributors across two pods
- Own the clinical AI roadmap, quality, and delivery
- Carry hands-on projects involving prompting, evaluation design, error analysis, and clinical content
- Review work and guide evaluation and prompting decisions
- Represent the clinical perspective with product, engineering, and customers
- Coach contributors on project planning, timelines, and proactive communication
- Interview and evaluate candidates
