About the Role
You will lead end-to-end civil and land-development engineering for data center and power-generation sites. You will design grading, stormwater, utilities, and flood-mitigation systems; coordinate multidisciplinary designs; support permitting and site selection; resolve construction inquiries; and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of civil engineering experience
- Experience in land development, hydrology and hydraulics, floodplain modeling, stormwater management, underground utilities, and environmental compliance
- Proficiency with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, ArcGIS, and BIM/GIS workflows
- Knowledge of IBC, ASCE, EPA, stormwater regulations, and floodplain standards
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
Responsibilities
- Lead civil and land-development engineering for mission-critical sites
- Perform hydrology, hydraulics, floodplain, and stormwater analysis
- Design grading, erosion control, earthwork, foundations, and underground utilities
- Perform environmental assessments and regulatory permitting
- Coordinate designs with structural, mechanical, electrical, geotechnical, and construction disciplines
- Support site selection, investigations, feasibility studies, and due diligence
- Respond to RFIs, submittals, and field inquiries
- Conduct site visits and construction observations
- Implement sustainable land-development and floodplain-resilience solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and improve civil design standards
