About the Role
You will lead the clean-sheet design and production release of low-voltage switchboard and distribution busway platforms. You will manage engineering, testing, certification, localization, and vendor delivery activities.
Requirements
- Experience designing low-voltage switchboards or busway at an OEM
- Experience carrying a product through UL 891 or UL 857 listing
- Experience running short-circuit withstand and temperature-rise test campaigns
- Knowledge of bus, bracing, joint, plating, sheet metal, torque specifications, and assembly sequences
- Experience leading a product team through a compressed release schedule
- Ability to write ratings documentation and configuration rules
Responsibilities
- Own clean-sheet design of UL 891 low-voltage switchboard and UL 857 distribution busway platforms
- Release both platforms for production within 12 months
- Lead electrical and mechanical engineers
- Drive NRTL listing programs, test plans, witness testing, and certification files
- Define localization requirements, including interconnects, protection interfaces, transport limits, and seismic anchorage
- Work with authorized vendors to deliver consistent products
