About the Role
You will select photovoltaic cell architecture and establish its technology roadmap, efficiency trajectory, and cost trajectory. You will build loss-analysis frameworks, direct process and device engineering priorities, manage pilot-line partnerships and technology transfer, and define cell procurement specifications with suppliers.
Requirements
- 15+ years in silicon photovoltaic cell technology
- Experience taking TOPCon, HJT, or back-contact cell architecture to production efficiency targets
- Loss-budget development across recombination, optical, and resistive losses
- Pilot-to-production process transfer experience
- Published or patented expertise in passivation, contacts, or device design
- Leadership of multidisciplinary cell research and development teams
- Photovoltaic supply-chain knowledge
- Back-contact architecture knowledge
- Pilot-line buildout experience
Responsibilities
- Select cell architecture and own the technology roadmap

- Direct process, device physics, and characterization priorities
