About the Role

You will verify, on a continuous basis and in relation to special needs, the adequacy and effective functioning of the internal control and risk management system through an audit plan approved by the Board of Directors, based on a structured analysis and ranking of the main risks. You will have direct access to all information useful for the performance of your duties. You will draft periodic reports with adequate information on your own activity and the company's risk management process, including compliance with risk mitigation plans, and these reports will include an evaluation of the adequacy of the internal control and risk management system. You will prepare timely reports on particularly significant events and submit reports to the chairman of the Board of statutory auditors, the control, risk and sustainability committee, the Board of Directors, and the Chief Executive Officer. You will also verify, according to the audit plan, the reliability of information systems, including the accounting one.

Requirements

  • CPA/CIA required
  • CISA required
  • 10+ years experience in finance and accounting business processes
  • More than 5 years audit experience in a financial institution
  • Experience in a management role
  • Experience leading and managing large scale initiatives and managing associated change
  • History of consistently delivering business results
  • Exposure to international complexities in accounting and finance business processes
  • Demonstrated success leading senior professionals and developing a strong organization and workforce in a complex, service-intensive, deadline-driven environment
