About the Role
You will operate and monitor automated adapters and storage-and-retrieval flows to maintain throughput. You will perform pre-production checks, prepare pallets for induction, recover robots, inspect and maintain equipment, resolve stoppages through HMI and manual intervention, and escalate production issues.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience with mechanical automation systems or equivalent education or training
- Proficiency in system inspections, cleaning, lubrication, tolerance checking, current measurements, and electrical-system checks
- Ability to prioritize work for automated-cell uptime and throughput
- Ability to work safely
- Ability to work independently using procedures and manuals
- Ability to multitask
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-production checks on automated adapters
- Monitor automated storage and retrieval system flows
- Prepare pallets for induction
- Assess system stoppages and return equipment to service using HMI and manual intervention
- Communicate and escalate production-impacting issues
- Support system uptime through robot recovery and bot health actions
- Perform system inspections, cleaning, lubrication, tolerance checks, and component validation
- Report out-of-spec conditions and perform root-cause corrective actions
- Perform rover bot upkeep
- Recover automated robotic vehicles
