About the Role
You will safely operate autonomous trucks on public roads for development testing and commercial pilot operations. You will haul commercial freight, monitor autonomous operations attentively, provide performance feedback, use internal mobile tools to track work, and uphold safety and compliance standards.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Class A driving experience
- Valid Class A CDL with Airbrake Endorsement
- Current DOT Medical Certificate
- Strictly clean motor vehicle record with no listed safety violations or license suspensions/revocations
- Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Pass sleep apnea screening
Responsibilities
- Safely operate autonomous trucks on public roads for development testing and commercial pilot operations
- Haul commercial freight between customer locations and meet points
- Provide feedback on system performance to advance self-driving technology
- Use internal smartphone and tablet tools to track assigned and completed work
- Uphold internal safety standards and compliance benchmarks
- Remain alert and attentive during extended periods of autonomous operation
