About the Role
You will process high-volume cashiering transactions, primarily check deposits as well as ACH, wire, and other brokerage transactions. You will monitor transaction queues, investigate and resolve discrepancies, communicate with advisors and clients, and work with internal and clearing-firm partners to complete transactions accurately and on time. You will also identify improvements to cashiering efficiency, accuracy, and client experience.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of cashiering procedures, workflows, and regulatory considerations
- Basic understanding of financial markets and the securities industry
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
- Data entry, written, verbal, and phone communication skills
- 1-2 years of financial operations experience, preferably in banking
- Experience using proprietary banking software for transactional workflows
- Problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new systems
Responsibilities
- Process high-volume check deposits in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Monitor daily transaction queues and meet deadlines and service-level expectations
- Research and resolve transaction discrepancies and inquiries from intake through resolution
- Serve as a primary contact for advisors, their staff, and clients through phone, email, and internal systems
- Partner with the clearing firm and internal teams to facilitate transactions and resolve issues
- Identify opportunities to improve cashiering efficiency, accuracy, and client experience
