About the Role
You will lead capital deployment, cryptocurrency sales, treasury programs, DeFi engagement, and market operations. You will evaluate protocols and assets, develop risk controls, monitor portfolio health and liquidity, negotiate with counterparties, and translate complex financial and blockchain activity into clear reporting, documentation, and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 6–10+ years of professional experience in finance, investment banking, or capital markets.
- 3+ years of hands-on blockchain or DeFi experience.
- Advanced knowledge of on-chain data, DeFi protocols, and market-making dynamics.
- Proficiency with blockchain explorers, on-chain analytics tools such as Dune, and trading platforms.
- Experience presenting investment and risk strategies to executive stakeholders.
- Experience with traditional accounting requirements and decentralized-finance workflows.
- Expert quantitative and financial-modeling skills for high-volatility digital assets.
Responsibilities
- Manage the strategic roadmap for capital deployment and liquidity solutions.
- Drive commercial negotiations with institutional counterparties, liquidity providers, market makers, and DeFi protocols.
- Cultivate relationships across the DeFi ecosystem.
- Facilitate cryptocurrency sales and treasury management programs.
- Develop and maintain options and volatility programs.
- Monitor sales and liquidity program performance and adjust execution playbooks.
- Research DeFi protocols and assets, including tokenomics, governance, technical viability, and strategic fit.
- Partner on smart-contract security diligence for proposed integrations.
- Implement monitoring controls for smart-contract, concentration, collateralization, and credit risk.
- Identify portfolio risks and implement hedging or diversification strategies.
- Monitor market depth, volatility, liquidity, and digital-asset positions.
- Reconcile DeFi activity with Finance and Accounting.
- Generate performance and risk reports for leadership.
- Maintain audit-ready risk-management and trading documentation.
