About the Role
You will work with traders, operations, exchanges, and developers to optimize the trading environment and resolve system issues. You will monitor platform health, troubleshoot system and networking infrastructure, design and optimize low-latency network infrastructure, automate production operations, coordinate changes and incidents, assess operational risk, and document procedures.
Requirements
- Major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- Experience with Linux or UNIX operating systems, advanced commands, and shell scripts
- Practical working knowledge of Python
- Understanding of routing, multicast, and Ethernet
- Detail-oriented approach to operations
- Ability to communicate clearly under pressure
- Reliable and predictable availability
Responsibilities
- Monitor the health and performance of the trading platform
- Analyze and troubleshoot system, software, and networking infrastructure issues
- Design, implement, and optimize low-latency network infrastructure
- Build automation for the production trading environment
- Coordinate changes and manage incidents with risk management and trading teams
- Assess operational risk for production change control
- Define and document processes and procedures
