About the Role

You will lead integration of autonomy software onto vehicle platforms, design compute and network architectures, validate drive-by-wire and sensor systems, and manage Linux baselines. You will build test procedures and automation, debug across the software-to-actuator boundary, document technical interfaces, mentor engineers, and participate in vehicle and test-track testing.

Requirements

  • 5+ years integrating software and hardware onto vehicles, robots, or physical systems with actuators and sensors
  • C or C++ proficiency and working Python knowledge
  • Experience developing and debugging Linux software that communicates with hardware
  • Experience with CAN, CAN-FD, automotive Ethernet, and related tooling
  • Linux systems and networking knowledge
  • Experience owning a full platform integration through on-vehicle validation and handoff
  • Experience working on vehicles and test benches
  • Ability to drive cross-functional integration issues to closure
  • Willingness to participate in vehicle and test-track testing

Responsibilities

  • Lead autonomy software integration onto new vehicle platforms
  • Design on-vehicle compute topology, network segmentation, power and data paths, and ECU interfaces
  • Build and validate drive-by-wire interfaces and sensor suites
  • Own Linux software baselines and configuration management
  • Port control software to real-time embedded targets when required
  • Build bench setups, on-vehicle test procedures, and regression automation
  • Debug across software and actuator boundaries
  • Define standard interfaces and tools
  • Mentor engineers and maintain integration documentation and specifications
  • Participate in on-vehicle and test-track testing
