About the Role
You will design wiring harness assemblies for lunar landers and flight vehicles. You will ensure component compatibility, perform bend-radius, voltage-drop, and mass analyses, resolve connector and shielding issues, define design parameters, and create 2D schematics and layout drawings for manufacturing.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of wiring harness design experience for military, aerospace, or space applications
- Experience manufacturing wiring harnesses for military, aerospace, or space applications
- Associate degree, bachelor's degree, or related experience
- US Person status as defined under ITAR/EAR
Responsibilities
- Design wiring harness assemblies for lunar landers and flight vehicles
- Ensure compatibility of wiring harness components
- Perform bend-radius checks, voltage-drop analysis, and harness mass calculations
- Standardize parts and resolve connector, backshell, and shielding issues
- Select connectors and high-reliability interconnect types
- Define twisting, shielding, and gauge parameters
- Create 2D harness schematics and layout drawings
