About the Role
You will support the Financial Controller with daily accounting work and financial closing. You will record entries, reconcile invoices and account discrepancies, track advance-payment requests, prepare payments, analyze accounting data, and maintain accurate confidential financial records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or tax.
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or finance.
- Experience with financial reporting requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Time management, critical thinking, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Computer skills in Word and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Support the Financial Controller with day-to-day work and the close process.
- Book accounting entries.
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.
- Track advance-payment requests through submission of supporting documents.
- Research and analyze accounting data to provide financial information.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Handle financial closing tasks under the Financial Controller’s supervision.
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
- Maintain digital and physical financial records.
- Keep financial information confidential.
