About the Role

You will administer client income payments and process SIPP-related transactions accurately and within agreed timescales. You will verify payment requests, match client money, process banking transactions, maintain client account details, manage queries, identify risks, and ensure work follows procedures and regulatory controls.

Requirements

  • Experience in payroll, banking, financial services, or pensions
  • Microsoft Excel knowledge including formulas, data manipulation, analysis, checks, and reconciliations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload
  • Ability to work to deadlines and agreed service levels
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills
  • Ability to identify issues, risks, and improvement opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Vet requests for new and amended income payments
  • Identify and match client money promptly
  • Process payments through banking systems
  • Input client bank account details and money movements into internal systems
  • Review reports for potential upcoming payment issues
  • Close client SIPPs according to procedures
  • Create and process MPAA letters
  • Process income fees
  • Cancel standing orders and disinvestments when required
  • Manage the team mailbox and respond to queries promptly
  • Maintain relationships with internal departments and stakeholders
  • Meet service levels and deadlines
  • Escalate issues, delays, exceptions, and control concerns
  • Improve benefits payroll processes
  • Complete work in line with procedures, regulatory requirements, and controls
