About the Role
You will administer health, welfare, retirement, and leave programs. You will respond to employee inquiries, process benefits changes, support onboarding and offboarding, manage leave cases, reconcile data, coordinate open enrollment, and assist with compliance and process improvements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in benefits, HR operations, or a related field
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Workday experience preferred
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Excel proficiency
- Outlook proficiency
- Ability to manage high-volume detail-oriented work accurately
- Problem-solving and process-improvement skills
- Communication skills for employees and vendors
Responsibilities
- Manage the Benefits inbox and respond to employee inquiries
- Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in Workday
- Support benefits onboarding and offboarding activities
- Assist employees with benefit eligibility, coverage, and plan navigation
- Coordinate wellness initiatives, vendor programs, and employee communications
- Administer and track leave-of-absence cases
- Maintain leave records and coordinate updates with vendors
- Partner with Payroll and HR on leave pay and status alignment
- Perform data-entry audits and reconciliations
- Monitor vendor file feeds and system updates
- Resolve benefits-data discrepancies
- Support open enrollment
- Assist with ACA reporting and nondiscrimination testing
- Maintain benefits documentation and standard operating procedures
