About the Role

Develop and operate backend applications for a next-generation core banking system using C and Java. Design reliable, stable, and high-performing systems; select architecture and middleware; apply infrastructure to system challenges; and tune, monitor, and respond to alerts for microservices. Contribute from system design through implementation and introduction, including applications for account opening, payment integrations, ATM services, and loan services.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of backend development experience
• Practical experience with C or Java and strong skills in other common programming languages
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming fundamentals
• Experience with database schema design for relational and NoSQL databases and efficient query creation
• Experience developing and tuning web applications with security considerations
• Native-level Japanese or JLPT N1/N2-equivalent proficiency

• Develop and operate C and Java backend applications for core banking systems
• Design and develop applications for performance, stability, and financial-platform reliability
• Implement infrastructure usage to solve system challenges
• Design application architecture and select middleware based on requirements
• Tune microservice performance, configure monitoring, and respond to alerts
