About the Role
Build and scale backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines powering production services; design and ship AI-powered features, agents, and automation; create shared AI infrastructure; and deliver customer-facing capabilities in partnership with the business.
Requirements
- Experience with Node.js and other backend technologies
- 1–3+ years building production systems using LLMs, tool calling, structured outputs, prompt architecture, and retrieval patterns
- 3–8+ years of professional experience
- Builder mentality with experience shipping side projects or experiments
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to make decisions and ship
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the technical and product roadmap
- Build and scale backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines
- Design and ship AI-powered features, agents, and automation
- Build shared AI infrastructure including composable tool interfaces, evaluation frameworks, and permission-aware data access
- Rapidly ship new capabilities to customers and internal teams
- Work embedded with the business to understand workflows
