About the Role
You will serve as a central contact for business and technical back-office matters. You will analyze and implement requirements, improve settlement, custody, and operational-tax processes, and develop pension products. You will write functional specifications, coordinate delivery and testing, work with internal and external stakeholders, and translate regulatory requirements and market trends into solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in economics or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in banking
- Experience in business analysis and project work
- Experience analyzing and optimizing complex end-to-end processes
- Knowledge of trading, settlement, and communication systems
- Knowledge of clearing, settlement, and custody is desirable
- Knowledge of state-subsidized pension products, allowance processes, or regulatory requirements is desirable
- IIBA CCBA or CBAP certification is advantageous
- Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and implement business and technical back-office requirements
- Develop and optimize settlement, custody, and operational-tax processes
- Manage and develop the pension custody account and early-start pension, including allowance processes
- Create functional specifications and support technical implementation
- Lead initiatives from requirements analysis through implementation, test coordination, launch, and handover to operations
- Collaborate with business functions, IT, and external service providers
- Monitor regulatory requirements and market trends and translate them into solutions
