About the Role
You will provide L2 production support for transaction banking platforms, lead incident resolution and root-cause analysis, and monitor service health. You will coordinate resilience testing, automate operational processes, improve service stability metrics, maintain ITIL and security compliance, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 8 years of relevant production support, application support, SRE, or platform operations experience
- Experience supporting mission-critical banking applications
- Unix or Linux expertise
- SQL database experience
- Oracle
- MariaDB
- Shell scripting
- Application troubleshooting
- MQ or WebSphere experience
- Observability and monitoring tool experience
- Incident, problem, and change management knowledge
- Python
- Ansible
- Jenkins
- CI/CD
- OpenShift or Kubernetes exposure
- Willingness to participate in on-call support
Responsibilities
- Provide L2 production support for transaction banking platforms
- Lead production incident management and resolution
- Drive root-cause analysis and problem management
- Monitor system health, performance, capacity, and availability
- Coordinate major incident management
- Execute disaster recovery and business continuity exercises
- Drive automation, observability, and SRE practices
- Improve service stability metrics
- Ensure security, regulatory, audit, and ITIL compliance
