About the Role
You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs on vehicles and autonomous vehicle systems in a shop environment. You will complete work orders, follow standard operating procedures, capture diagnostic information, document completed work, and promptly escalate issues.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in fleet, automotive, or technical operations
- Experience working on heavy duty diesel trucks and trailers
- Hands-on electrical repair experience, including wiring harness repairs and connector termination
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Basic experience with maintenance or mechanical systems
- Willingness to learn AV systems and diagnostics
Responsibilities
- Execute maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks on vehicles
- Complete work orders accurately and on time
- Perform inspections and basic repairs following SOPs
- Work with AV components, sensors, diagnostics, and system checks under guidance
- Capture logs, photos, and diagnostic data
- Follow AV workflows and escalate issues
- Complete required documentation for all work performed
- Participate in shift briefs, debriefs, and handoffs
