About the Role

You will architect, build, document, test, and iterate on mechatronic systems. You will integrate and commission sensors, actuators, control systems, and industrial automation hardware, while optimizing mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces for reliable and safe deployments.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate hands-on experience in mechatronics, robotics integration, or automation engineering
  • Use hardware and software integration skills
  • Be proficient in at least one programming language
  • Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Instrument, test, and validate complex electromechanical systems
  • Write documentation, use version control, and perform systematic debugging
  • Be based in or relocate to the SF Bay Area
  • Work 4–5 days per week from the San Leandro HQ
  • Travel approximately 10% to solar construction sites
