About the Role
You will inspect, repair, calibrate, and maintain automated storage, retrieval, lift, adapter, and robotic vehicle systems. You will troubleshoot equipment using diagrams and test equipment, document maintenance in the CMMS, recover robotic vehicles, perform minor utility work, support robotic arms, and maintain safe, clean work areas.
Requirements
- Associate degree, certification, or equivalent experience in electronics, automotive, automation, or manufacturing
- Minimum of 3 years of mechanical automation systems experience or equivalent training
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
- Ability to follow electro-mechanical diagrams
- Experience with PLC knowledge and troubleshooting
- Ability to operate automated systems
- Inspection proficiency
- Ability to work independently using procedures and manuals
Responsibilities
- Inspect automated storage, retrieval, vehicle, adapter, and lift systems
- Adjust, calibrate, repair, replace, and modify system components
- Monitor automated storage and retrieval system flow
- Troubleshoot robotic vehicle anomalies and stoppages
- Document inspections, repairs, parts, and labor in the CMMS
- Communicate production-impacting problems and corrective maintenance estimates
- Recover automated robotic vehicles
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, set up, and change tools on robotic arms
- Perform Cell Operator functions as needed
- Follow 5S policies
