About the Role
You will inspect, repair, calibrate, and operate automated adapters, lifts, and robotic vehicles. You will troubleshoot equipment issues, document maintenance in CMMS, recover robotic vehicles, perform minor utility work, maintain robotic arms, and follow cleaning and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Associate degree, certification, or equivalent experience in electronics, automotive, automation, or manufacturing
- At least 3 years of mechanical automation experience or equivalent education or training
- Electro-mechanical troubleshooting
- Electro-mechanical diagram interpretation
- Automated-system operation
- PLC troubleshooting
- Inspection functions
- Ability to work independently using procedures and manuals
Responsibilities
- Inspect automated storage and retrieval systems, robotic vehicles, adapters, and lifts
- Adjust, calibrate, repair, replace, and modify system components
- Monitor automated storage and retrieval system flow
- Troubleshoot robotic vehicle anomalies and stoppages
- Document maintenance actions, repairs, parts, and labor in CMMS
- Communicate production-impacting issues and corrective actions
- Recover automated robotic vehicles in restrictive environments
- Perform minor utility work
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, set up, and change tools on robotic arms
- Clean equipment and follow 5S policies
- Perform Cell Operator functions as needed
