About the Role
You will administer and support enterprise Atlassian and Jenkins platforms. You will configure workflows, permissions, repositories, pipelines, and integrations; develop Groovy, Python, Shell, and Java solutions; manage upgrades and vulnerabilities; monitor platform health; troubleshoot incidents; and provide operational support.
Requirements
- 6-10+ years of overall IT experience.
- 4+ years administering Atlassian products.
- 3+ years of Jenkins administration experience.
- Strong ScriptRunner development experience.
- Strong automation and scripting experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Atlassian Data Center, and Atlassian migrations and upgrades.
- Experience with Groovy, Python, Shell scripting, Java, and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL, and basic SQL queries.
- Experience with Git, SonarQube, and JFrog Artifactory.
- Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift experience is preferred.
- Atlassian Certified Administrator or Jenkins Certified Engineer certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and SDLC governance is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket Data Center applications.
- Manage projects, workflows, permissions, repositories, user access, and integrations.
- Maintain platform availability, performance, scalability, upgrades, migrations, and patching.
- Develop and govern ScriptRunner scripts, validators, post-functions, listeners, endpoints, and scheduled jobs.
- Administer Jenkins controllers, agents, pipelines, shared libraries, credentials, and plugins.
- Troubleshoot build, deployment, pipeline, application, infrastructure, and database issues.
- Develop automation using Shell, Python, and Groovy.
- Automate onboarding, access reviews, health checks, backup validation, compliance reporting, and maintenance.
- Develop Java plugins, extensions, integrations, REST APIs, and custom services.
- Implement audit logging, secret scanning, access controls, security guardrails, and hardening.
- Integrate Atlassian tools with Jenkins, SonarQube, JFrog, Git, authentication, and ITSM platforms.
- Monitor platform health and performance and perform root cause analysis.
- Support production issues and outages and provide L2/L3 support.
- Create operational runbooks and standard operating procedures.
