About the Role
As an Associate Software Engineer on the AI Platform team, you will help build next-generation AI and GenAI products used by enterprises worldwide. You will work across the full development lifecycle, designing, coding, testing, deploying, and maintaining software while learning modern AI development practices. You will write clean, maintainable code in Python with FastAPI, PyTest, and Celery, participate in the AI development lifecycle from data collection and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, and deployment, and experiment with generative AI techniques and frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph. You will build testable software with automated testing, debug issues, triage defects, and contribute to service health through telemetry and root-cause analysis. You will collaborate with peers, participate in design and code reviews, document your work, and contribute to training materials. You will work in a DevOps model, partnering with product management to deliver high-quality software in production.
Requirements
- Developing strong technical foundations with clean, maintainable code
- Eager to deepen expertise in Python, FastAPI, PyTest, Celery, and modern software design patterns
- Understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles
- Comfortable using Git/GitHub and tools like JIRA
- Curiosity about AI and GenAI and interest in the AI development lifecycle
- Experience with automated testing tools like PyTest or Selenium
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming, concurrency, and REST APIs is a plus
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Terraform or GitHub Actions is a plus
- Exposure to SQL or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, MSSQL, Postgres) is a plus
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or GCP technologies (VertexAI, BigQuery, GKE, GCS, DataFlow, Kubeflow) is a plus
- Experience with additional languages (C#, Java, Scala) is a plus
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks (PyMock, xUnit, mocking libraries) is a plus

- Document work clearly and contribute to training materials
