About the Role
You will build enhance and support microservices for portfolio construction data integration and real time operational workflows. You will collaborate with stakeholders troubleshoot critical production issues and write maintainable code using modern backend database API and frontend technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
- At least 5 years of engineering experience with large scale systems
- Experience in investment management or trading environments preferred
- Knowledge of algorithms data structures design patterns and programming paradigms
- Proficiency in Python Java Go or another modern object oriented language
- Experience with web development and frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Knowledge of RESTful GraphQL or gRPC API design
- Ability to troubleshoot critical live environment issues
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced interdisciplinary environment
- Experience with AWS Azure or GCP preferred
- Experience with Salesforce or MS Dynamics preferred
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ AWS SQS Cassandra or DynamoDB preferred
- Background in statistical or financial analysis preferred
