About the Role

You will lead due diligence for live M&A transactions, build financial models and valuation analyses, prepare screening memos and executive deal materials, manage venture portfolio information, and forecast deal-related cash outflows. You will also support strategic investments and work across multiple high-priority transactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience at an investment bank, venture capital firm, private equity firm, management consultancy, or startup
  • Financial modeling and valuation skills
  • Business model analysis
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Deal memo writing experience
  • Storytelling skills
  • Advanced Excel
  • Experience with data analysis tools
  • Ability to work independently across multiple transactions
  • SQL proficiency is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead due diligence across live transactions
  • Organize and maintain data rooms
  • Schedule diligence and debrief sessions
  • Draft consolidated diligence reports
  • Build operating models, trading comparables, precedent transactions, DCF analyses, returns analyses, and accretion or dilution support
  • Produce screening memos and company teardowns
  • Maintain the venture investment portfolio deal-terms inventory
  • Collect quarterly portfolio-company KPI updates
  • Track valuation marks with IRR and MOIC per position
  • Forecast deal-related cash outflows
  • Prepare executive deal materials and Board pages
  • Support data analysis
