About the Role
You will lead due diligence for live M&A transactions, build financial models and valuation analyses, prepare screening memos and executive deal materials, manage venture portfolio information, and forecast deal-related cash outflows. You will also support strategic investments and work across multiple high-priority transactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience at an investment bank, venture capital firm, private equity firm, management consultancy, or startup
- Financial modeling and valuation skills
- Business model analysis
- Problem-solving skills
- Deal memo writing experience
- Storytelling skills
- Advanced Excel
- Experience with data analysis tools
- Ability to work independently across multiple transactions
- SQL proficiency is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead due diligence across live transactions
- Organize and maintain data rooms
- Schedule diligence and debrief sessions
- Draft consolidated diligence reports
- Build operating models, trading comparables, precedent transactions, DCF analyses, returns analyses, and accretion or dilution support
- Produce screening memos and company teardowns
- Maintain the venture investment portfolio deal-terms inventory
- Collect quarterly portfolio-company KPI updates
- Track valuation marks with IRR and MOIC per position
- Forecast deal-related cash outflows
- Prepare executive deal materials and Board pages
- Support data analysis
