About the Role
You prepare, assemble, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for products and parts. You use hand tools and PPE, follow blueprints and work instructions, complete quality documentation, package and ship finished goods, track production, communicate issues, and move materials with pallet jacks or forklifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 0-2+ years of experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings or blueprint packages
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull merchandise up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily
- Ability to pass a background check
- Participation in a drug and alcohol program
- Forklift experience is a bonus
- Electro-mechanical experience is a bonus
- ISO 9001:2015 experience is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Assemble and fabricate parts using hand tools and PPE
- Drill and tap metal
- Follow work instructions and meet quality standards
- Complete quality check sheets
- Photograph projects for quality records
- Obtain shipping invoices and packing slips
- Package, palletize, and band products
- Update the team status board
- Communicate production status, concerns, and issues
- Load and unload delivery trucks
- Move materials with pallet jacks or forklifts
