About the Role

You will prepare, assemble, and continuously improve products and parts manufactured on-site. You will use hand tools and PPE, drill and tap metal, follow work instructions, complete quality documentation, photograph projects, package and ship products, update production status, communicate issues, and move materials with pallet jacks or forklifts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0–2+ years of experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings or blueprint packages
  • Ability to read and understand a wide range of blueprints
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to use basic hand tools
  • Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull merchandise up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Participation in a drug and alcohol program is required

Responsibilities

  • Use hand tools and PPE to assemble parts and assemblies
  • Drill and tap metal
  • Follow work instructions and meet quality standards
  • Complete Quality Check Sheets before final packaging
  • Photograph projects for quality history
  • Obtain shipping invoices and packing slips
  • Package, palletize, and band products
  • Update the Team Status Board
  • Communicate production status, concerns, and issues
  • Load and unload delivery trucks
  • Move materials with a pallet jack or forklift
