About the Role
You will integrate AI models with robotic hardware, sensors, and embedded systems. You will test algorithms in simulation and field deployments, tune and debug localization, mapping, navigation, and perception systems, analyze field data, and build tooling for deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Software engineering skills in Python and/or C++
- Knowledge of ROS or ROS2
- Experience with robot perception and state estimation, including SLAM, localization, mapping, path planning, sensor fusion, or computer vision
- Mathematical knowledge of geometry, probability, and estimation
- Familiarity with robotics simulation tools such as Isaac Sim or Gazebo
Responsibilities
- Integrate AI models with robotic hardware, sensors, and embedded systems
- Improve the robustness, reliability, and safety of robotic systems
- Test and validate algorithms in simulation and real-world deployments
- Analyze field data to improve model performance and system reliability
- Tune and debug localization, mapping, navigation, and perception systems
- Develop robot navigation behaviors, path planning, and obstacle avoidance
- Diagnose and fix end-to-end autonomy failures
- Build and maintain deployment, monitoring, and continuous-improvement tooling
