About the Role
You will develop and deploy 3D computer-vision algorithms for autonomous construction robots. You will build localization, mapping, calibration, and state-estimation systems; combine camera, depth, and IMU data; design sensing systems; and investigate sensing errors in production.
Requirements
- Industry experience building and deploying 3D vision systems in production
- Hands-on experience with LiDAR, IMU, and depth-camera sensor systems
- Experience with mapping, localization, and state-estimation algorithms including SLAM, VIO, ICP, and Kalman filters
- Experience with real-time deep-learning computer vision is preferred
- Software engineering experience with C, C++, Python, Rust, or comparable languages
- Knowledge of Git, unit testing, and automated deployment
Responsibilities
- Develop algorithms for localization, mapping, calibration, and state estimation
- Build continuous robot localization using camera, depth, and IMU data
- Design vision systems, sensors, and quality-assessment models
- Implement robust production code for vision algorithms
- Measure sensing performance and perform root-cause analysis
