About the Role

Join General Atlantic's Mexico Investment team and gain exposure to the full investment process, including sourcing opportunities, conducting diligence, presenting to the Investment Committee, supporting portfolio companies, researching investment themes and targets, and conducting proprietary research through industry contacts and consultants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience; investment banking and private equity preferred, with consulting or operations also considered
  • Passion for discovering transformational, high-growth companies
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Superior financial modeling skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial attitude and eagerness to take on special projects
  • Strong analytical abilities, creativity, business judgment, and professional maturity
  • Outstanding professional and academic achievement
  • Strong communication skills, intellectual curiosity, energy, and passion for investing
  • Desire to collaborate with colleagues globally

Responsibilities

  • Build financial models and perform financial analysis to support investment due diligence and portfolio value creation
  • Draft investment memoranda and presentations for the investment committee
  • Work with MDs, VPs, and management teams to support portfolio companies
  • Research investment themes and potential targets through in-depth industry research
  • Conduct proprietary research through calls with industry contacts, consultants, and other relevant parties
