About the Role
You will monitor transactions and member behaviour for signs of fraud, conduct investigations using multiple tools, manage your case load, prepare SAR narratives, and gather information from members. You will meet quality targets and recommend improvements to fraud-prevention processes.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in transaction monitoring or fraud-risk roles in financial services
- Ability to identify suspicious activity
- Ability to analyse large data sets and identify patterns and trends
- C1/C2 spoken and written English
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts in a 24/7 operational environment
- Experience communicating with members, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
Responsibilities
- Analyse transactions across payment types and products for signs of fraud
- Use investigation tools, including open-source investigation
- Manage a case load to meet performance targets
- Meet productivity and quality targets
- Prepare SAR narratives
- Maintain evidence, decisions, and case-progression records
- Recommend process improvements to prevent fraud
- Build relationships with internal departments
- Conduct phone calls with members when required
