About the Role

You will work closely with Carta's alliance partners, including Morgan Stanley, New York Stock Exchange, Odyssey Trust, Ramp, and Sequoia, to jointly build cobranding and comarketing strategies that drive demand generation. You will collaborate across Marketing, Business Development, Sales, Customer Success, and oCXO teams to execute partnership initiatives and measure their impact. You'll develop quarterly and annual comarketing plans, aligning stakeholders on both sides to create resourced, impactful activations. You will partner with sales, delivery, and marketing teams to identify enablement needs and create collateral and digital content that supports partnership goals. You'll capture and share customer success stories, optimize digital content with the web and performance marketing teams, and work with the social team to amplify partnership content. You will engage with partners on events, both owned and third-party, and design field marketing activations in key hubs like New York Metro and San Francisco Bay Area. You'll also build and manage account-based marketing target lists with partner and sales teams, report on program engagement, and help allocate co-marketing budget when prioritized.

Requirements

  • Excellent relationship management skills with partners and key stakeholders
  • Maturity to manage high-stakes partner relationships and own alliances strategy
  • Understanding of the various functions of marketing
  • Proven track record of successfully managing channel partners, ideally alliance partners
  • Expertise in working across GTM functions in support of partner initiatives
  • BA required; SaaS, fintech or financial services experience desirable
  • 6+ years GTM or related experience; alliances, channel or partner marketing experience required

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with alliance partners and Carta GTM teams to develop cobranding and comarketing strategies
  • Work across Marketing, Business Development, Sales, Customer Success and oCXO teams to execute partnership initiatives
  • Develop annual and quarterly comarketing plans with partners and internal stakeholders
  • Determine KPIs and assess performance for marketing workstreams and tactics
  • Maintain professionalism and responsiveness with partners
  • Partner with sales, delivery and advisory teams to identify enablement needs
  • Develop mid to bottom of funnel collateral and digital content for enablement
  • Capture and communicate customer success stories and in-progress deals
  • Collaborate with partner teams and web team to optimize digital content
  • Interface with social team to activate partnership content
  • Work with Product Marketing to evolve messaging and positioning for product integrations
  • Align with Communications teams on media efforts for alliances
  • Engage with alliance partners on owned and third-party events
  • Develop localized field marketing strategies in key geo-hubs
  • Design field marketing activations featuring partner and Carta thought leaders
  • Leverage partner stakeholders for events and speaking opportunities
  • Develop and manage target lists of Alliances prospects for ABM
  • Partner with ABM teams to create prospect-specific workstreams
  • Report to partners on progress with top targets
  • Determine and allocate co-marketing budget for ABM initiatives
