About the Role
You will architect, deploy, pilot, and scale autonomous agent fleets across disease areas, owning the full loop from agent design and orchestration through evaluation and scientific judgment. The role begins with a four-week on-site residency embedded with the founding team, followed by scaling the fleets across more disease areas.
Requirements
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias to ship without waiting for permission.
- Technical depth across LLMs, agent frameworks, and at least one wet-science domain such as chemistry, biology, pharma, structural biology, or genomics.
- Comfort operating with ambiguity and at founder pace.
- Credential-agnostic background; degree holders should generally come from a top-tier institution or demonstrate equivalent work.
- Willingness to live on-site for four weeks.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scientific agent fleets for literature mining, target identification, molecular design, assay design, and data analysis.
- Pilot fleets against disease areas and drive them to validated targets, candidate molecules, novel datasets, or IP-NFTs.
- Run multiple fleets in parallel and report results directly to the CEO.
- Own agent design, orchestration, evaluation, and scientific judgment on outputs.
- Define the standard for autonomous science at Molecule.
