About the Role
Lead data science and AI projects in the financial domain as a product manager, translating business needs into AI project specifications and system architecture while aligning stakeholders, engineers, and data scientists.
Requirements
- Have 3+ years of experience planning, developing, and operating data- or algorithm-driven features for web services or applications
- Translate abstract business challenges into tasks addressable through data analysis or machine learning
- Manage stakeholders and build alignment across engineering, data science, legal, compliance, and business functions
- Understand statistics, machine learning, and data pipelines sufficiently to hold technical discussions with data scientists and machine learning engineers
- Create BRDs and PRDs accurately for both technical and business audiences
- Have practical experience extracting data with SQL and conducting basic analysis with Python or R
- Have practical experience with upstream system-development processes, including requirements definition and basic design
Responsibilities
- Bridge business stakeholders with engineers and data scientists by aligning expectations, roles, and agreements
- Define requirements and design AI projects
- Translate business requirements documents into AI project specifications and system architecture designs
- Manage project progress for Merchant Credit and Consumer Credit initiatives
- Report project progress to stakeholders
- Support system design by understanding and optimizing data structures within financial-domain constraints
