About the Role
You will structure and deploy regional cash liquidity strategies, build and lead a skilled team, monitor liquidity status across your region, develop relationships with bank partners, supervise and train cash officers, conduct field research, prepare regular performance reports, and prioritize solutions to ensure agent networks remain liquid.
Requirements
- Previous experience in team management, preferably in cash movements or cash-in-transit
- 2+ years of experience as a liquidity manager
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time within Burkina Faso
- Work authorization in Burkina Faso
- Equivalent of a Bachelor's Degree or secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or comparable field
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a skilled team
- Develop materials for a structured liquidity department
- Monitor liquidity status nationwide and in the assigned region
- Develop relationships with bank partners
- Identify priority areas and develop innovative liquidity solutions
- Coordinate and lead the team to implement strategy and achieve OKRs
- Supervise Premium Cash Officers and Premium Cash Assistants and manage their daily activities
- Participate in recruitment and onboarding by providing materials and training
- Monitor the team daily to detect wrongdoing or theft and report risks proactively
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports
- Conduct field research and investigations for the liquidity team
- Provide support and timely communication to ensure task completion
- Prioritize and resolve the biggest problems blocking unit performance
