About the Role
You will manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities; daily accounting; tax and audit work; and J-SOX internal-control activities. You will handle costing, project and construction accounting, software accounting, and accounting-system and operational improvements.
Requirements
- Approximately three years of practical accounting experience at an operating company
- Japanese bookkeeping certification level 1 or 2, Japanese or US CPA, or tax accountant qualification
- Accounting experience in manufacturing or construction, including cost accounting or construction accounting
- Business-level English
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
- Process expense reimbursements, payments, invoices, and cash receipts
- Manage receivables, payables, inventory, and fixed assets
- Perform tax work and support financial audits
- Support J-SOX internal-control audits
- Calculate, compile, and analyze manufacturing costs
- Handle construction, project, and software accounting
- Design, implement, and improve accounting operations
- Implement and operate accounting systems
- Review and operate accounting policies and treatments
